at Formula Drift with a fully loaded
Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
Partnering with driver Dennis Mertzanis
and Kenda Tires. We knew that it was going to be
a challenge with the BK chassis and believed that
we can start and build a competitive program for the series.

At ARK, “enough” is never in our vocabulary.
Taking another Genesis Coupe, we built it
around the mighty supercharged LS7 engine,
pushing over 1000 HP of raw, relentless power.
Behind the wheel, driver Dennis Mertzanis took

ARK AR 7
Roaring with 700 horsepower through every corner,
the AR7 quickly established itself as a fierce contender in Formula Drift. The BK1 chassis was completelyrebuilt from the ground up to support a two-car program, introducing new driver Pat Mourdant alongside Dennis Mertzanis. With its unmatched handling and raw power, the AR7 became a true weapon on the track—making a lasting mark in the competitive drifting world.

FORMULA DRIFT
AT FUJI SPEEDWAY JAPAN
2015 was the inaugural year for the Formula Drift
World Championships which was a culmination of FD USA season, with adding rounds in Japan, and Canada.
We shiped the AR1 to Fuji Speedway, and it was a success. Team ARK & driver Bakchis battled his way and finished 2nd place in Japan as drift fans witnessed a great display of international drifting competition as 63 drivers from 8 nations battled to be at the top of the podium. Almost 300,000 Livestream viewers joined the action and tuned in from around the world.

ARK Performance is proud to support suspension guru Odi Bakchis, a driver enriched with unmatched experience and knowledge. With our support, Odi secured multiple 2nd place finishes and finished 5th overall in the Pro Championships, driving the expertly engineered Nissan 240SX S14 and ARK Hyundai Genesis Coupe AR1. His exceptional performance and hunger to win a championship continues to showcase the power, precision, and reliability of ARK Performance in the world of motorsports.

DRIFT MASTER CHAMPIONSHIP 2021
Our first time competing in the Drift Masters European Championship, ARK Performance proudly supported Piotr Wiecek, who dominated and became the champion in 2021. Driving a 2JZ-powered Nissan S15, Wiecek secured three wins and four podium finishes. This victory highlighted ARK Performance’s commitment to success at the highest level of drifting.

CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
In the 2022 Drift Masters European Championship series, ARK Performance proudly continued its support of Piotr Więcek and the Worthouse Drift Team. Once again, Więcek dominated the season, defending his title and securing his second consecutive championship behind the wheel of his powerful Nissan S15. This back-to-back victory underscores ARK Performance’s passion and dedication to excellence in the world of professional drifting.
